WE ARE LIFELONG PROFESSIONALS Who is Joaquin Castillo? Our founder Joaquin Castillo is a lifelong upholstery industry professional.  After enjoying the sunshine and relaxation in Florida, he started the Castillo Upholstery Service. Joaquin did this to connect his passion with the community.  He desired to not only repair and create beautiful upholstered furniture but also teach newcomers in the industry. Since he was little, at the age of six to be exact, Joaquin began his apprentice work in the Dominican Republic. Can you believe that by the time he was thirteen, Joaquin was no longer an apprentice! He had dedicated himself to his trade. Soon Joaquin became a Master at an early age because he was a gifted individual.
